COMMITMENT  LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

GILBERT WONG WINS A SEAT ON THE CUPERTINO CITY COUNCIL !!! Dear Neighbors:

Cupertino is a wonderful community where my wife Helen and I are raising our two young daughters, Alison and Emily.

I am running for City Council because I want to maintain our quality of life and our suburban integrity so that Cupertino can continue to be a great place to live, work and raise a family.

As a proven leader and dedicated community volunteer, I will bring all my experience as a Planning Commissioner, Chamber of Commerce Board member, School Site Council President, Rotary Club member and small business owner to the Cupertino City Council.

I would like to hear from you. Please do not hesitate sending me an email with your concerns and ideas for making Cupertino a better community. I can be reached at electgilbertwong@aol.com.

It would be an honor for me if you would consider supporting my candidacy. Please join former Cupertino mayors Barbara Rogers, Reed Sparks, Michael Chang and Phil Johnson as well as State Senator Elaine Alquist, Assembly Speaker Pro Tem Sally Lieber and Santa Clara County Supervisor Liz Kniss in supporting my election on November 6th!

Thank you for consideration. Please look at my biography, endorsements and issue pages on this web site.

Sincerely,

Gilbert Wong
Candidate for Cupertino City Council

Dear Friends:

Thank you Cupertino!  Thank you to my supporters and my volunteers!  All the hard work paid off!  I am still waiting for the County Registrar of Voters to certify the election. However, it appears that I was elected to the Cupertino City Council on November 6th.

But I couldn't have gotten to the finish line without all your support and help.  I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for everything you did for my campaign. Whether it putting stamps on envelopes, walking precincts, or contributing to my campaign, I am so grateful for whatever you could do to help me realize this dream.

We ran a positive campaign, talking about a vision for a small town community with that neighborly small town feel.  We talked with many people in Cupertino who shared that vision where there is less traffic congestion, a more friendly enviornment and a government that works for you.

So again, thank you for everything.  Please join me for an Appreciation Party to ALL my volunteers, contributors and supporters on November 25th between 4pm to 6pm at Dynasty Restaurant on November 25th, Sunday at Cupertino Square formerly known as Vallco (Wolfe Road @ Hwy 280).  I look forward to serving you in Cupertino over the next four years.
